These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern your purchase of digital products from RidgeLine Cyber Defence. By completing a purchase through our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

All products sold through our website are digital products, including but not limited to cybersecurity governance documentation, policy templates, procedure templates, frameworks, checklists, workbooks, spreadsheets, and toolkits (collectively, "Products").
Products are delivered electronically. No physical goods are shipped.
Upon successful payment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use, modify, and adapt the purchased Product(s) for your own internal organisational purposes.
You may: use the Product within your organisation, customise and adapt the Product to suit your organisation's specific needs, print copies for internal use within your organisation, and incorporate Product content into your organisation's internal documentation.
You may not: resell, redistribute, sublicence, or make the Product available to any third party, whether in its original or modified form. You may not share the Product with other organisations, publish the Product or any substantial portion of it on any website or public platform, use the Product to create a competing product or service for sale, or remove or alter any copyright notices, branding, or attribution contained in the Product.
For the avoidance of doubt, each licence is for a single organisation. If you wish to use the Product across multiple legal entities, separate licences must be purchased for each entity.
All intellectual property rights in the Products, including copyright, remain with RidgeLine Cyber Defence. Your purchase grants you a licence to use the Product as described in Section 3 above. It does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
The Products incorporate and reference publicly available standards and frameworks, including materials published by NIST, CIS, ISO, and OWASP. References to these standards are made for informational and compliance-mapping purposes. RidgeLine Cyber Defence does not claim ownership of any third-party standards or frameworks referenced within the Products.
All prices are displayed on our website in US Dollars (USD) at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by our payment processor, which will convert the charge to your local currency at the prevailing exchange rate. The exact amount charged in your local currency may vary slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations.
We do not see, store, or have access to your payment card details. By making a purchase, you also agree to the payment processor's terms of service.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been completed.
Products are delivered digitally immediately following successful payment. Delivery is made by one or more of the following methods: a download link displayed on the post-purchase confirmation page, a download link sent to the email address you provide at checkout, or direct email delivery to the email address you provide at checkout.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address you provide is correct and that your email provider does not filter our delivery emails as spam. If you do not receive your Product within one hour of purchase, please contact us at contact@ridgelinecyber.com and we will resolve the issue promptly.

No guarantee of compliance. Purchasing or implementing our Products does not guarantee compliance with any law, regulation, standard, certification scheme, or contractual requirement, including but not limited to NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, UK Cyber Essentials, GDPR, or any other framework referenced in the Products. Compliance depends on how you implement, customise, operate, and maintain the documentation within the context of your broader information security management practices.
No guarantee of security. The Products are documentation tools. They do not constitute technical security controls and do not protect your systems, networks, or data. Implementing documentation alone does not make your organisation secure.
Organisations should seek qualified professional advice for their specific circumstances and jurisdiction. This includes, where appropriate, legal counsel, certified information security professionals, and qualified auditors.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RidgeLine Cyber Defence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your purchase or use of any Product, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or in connection with your purchase or use of any Product shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the specific Product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RidgeLine Cyber Defence from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use, customisation, or implementation of any Product, any breach of these Terms by you, or any claim by a third party arising from your use of a Product.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable. If modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RidgeLine Cyber Defence in relation to your purchase of Products. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and representations, whether oral or written.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases already completed. Continued use of our website and purchasing of Products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
